Childbirth is one of the major causes of vaginal muscles becoming loose and weak, other factors such as aging and genetics also play an important role in this condition. The subsequent result is a loosened vagina with decreased sensation and thus diminished sexual pleasure.  A Vaginoplasty, or vaginal tightening surgery, can retighten the vagina and return the vagina to a 'virginal' state which should increase sexual pleasure.

Vaginoplasty Details: Through hidden incisions at the vaginal orifice, the vaginal mucosa is elevated to expose underlying muscles. The lax muscle sling is realigned and tightened to a more normal position. The mucosa layer is then placed back on the repaired muscles to let it heal.

Vaginoplasty Results: After the surgery, there will be minor amounts of blood oozing which will continue for 5-7 days after the operation. The wound should heal within a couple of weeks and sexual intercourse can be resumed after 3 months.
